If it is too good to be true... Another Hi-Tech Scam

This is a high-tech scam, really from the old days of low tech scams. When I was a cop, I even remember taking a call on this.

The scam goes like this, a guy in the parking lot of a large store opens his trunk and offers a "newly" boxed item such as a stereo or TV, and then proceeds to tell a sob story about how he needs the money, and just bought this sweet thing, and will sell it to you for only....

He might even open the box, and you can see into the box, and there looks to be inside the packaging what he said. But the box contains a facade, a fake picture or likeness of what is inside, and Rocks or something heavy make up the weight to make the package feel just right.

Now flat screens and computers are so popular, it was bound to happen. This one they used an oven door, and decorated it to look like... something similar to a flat screen through the pacakaging in the box.
Just remember, if the trunk brothers are offering you something, it is sure to be a scam.
